Stewart Associates are ever conscious of the need to provide environmentally friendly design solutions to both minimise environmental impact and optimise maintenance/operational costs.
Wherever possible we promote the use of natural design solutions in such elements as ventilation, lighting and the use of structure.
In the development of buildings the need to make them perform in the most efficient way is uppermost in the development of our designs. Constrained by Government Initiatives and the constant improvement of Building Regulations, makes the production of economic energy driven solutions more challenging.
Stewart Associates have had extensive input to the development of building services systems that draw from renewable sources, air source, ground source, CHP, solar and wind as well as greywater recycling.
Stewart Associates have experience in working on BREEAM assessed schemes and in the support of achieving such criteria.
